LAVA-Volcanic Architecture

Each source of volcanic material is slightly different from pit to pit.  In general, natural scoria and cinder aggregates come in red or black.  Red ranges from purple to plum to reddish browns.  Black ranges from true black to dark grey.  Natural pumice ranges from medium to light grey.  Natural tuff ranges from light grey to cream.  Mill finish exposes a strong hint of natural color.  Using white cement lightens natural color.  Walls can always be stained or plastered to dramatically change color.
